It leaps off the page, and I almost expect it to have a drop shadow, like a swatch of fabric laid on the browser. :-) The colours work beautifully, especially that lovely apricot/yellow. I would like it a little richer at the top, where it looks slightly faded, but that's my only niggle. It is nice to see these manipulations coming in.
A beautiful painting. Love the variety monotones (grays) with a bit of color (blue, pink, & peach). The boat stands out nicely too. Very well done, Elizabeth.
I've recently experimented with Dynamic Auto-Painter & it's a fun program.
Oh my, now see, I've been waiting for you to try this technique with one of your beautiful fishing craft photos. Wow. The more remarkable images I see here on Caedes I often liken to those of a known fine artist. This one is a Winslow Homer, not just because it's a water scene but, even with all the subtle hues and soft suggestions of form, it's quite clear what we're looking at... just like Homer.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Hi Allison. I'm a big devotee of pastel colours, and this rocks my boat if you'll forgive the pun. many thanks for you comments on Next Stop Denmark. Glad you appreciate it. Barry.
