I've run across jellies, "in the flesh", as it were, and this is a very nice representation of one, particularly the upper right portion. This is, however, about as close as I cared to get to the tentacles on a real one, at least without my wet suit for protection. Interestingly, the place I saw them in the greatest numbers was in Tokyo Bay--absolutely filthy from manufacturing and garbage--and the least was at Subic Bay, Philippine Isands--crystal clear at any depth (the bay, not the river in Olongapo).
