Took a trip to the local garbage tip to try out a new 100mm macro I've just bought..Well it was a tip until they converted it into a nature reserve..I stuck the cheap 18-55 canon kit lens on and this is what i got..That cheap piece of plastic,Isn't a bad performer.I was quite suprised..R.

Agree with you Richie. Like to add however that it's not the lens who makes the pictures but the photographer. His/her eyes are far more important than any lens.

Very good composition. Seen very well!

I have that same lens. Not for landscape. I tried that. Good for macro shots and wildlife, portraits and such.
