The western jackdaw.. Taken with a Panasonic G5 I acquired for a pittance.. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised at the Quality it renders..R.

Richie, I don't know what you paid for the Panasonic G5. But considering the quality of the photo, you have again made an excellent purchase.

Under high precision focus, even a monotone~colored bird can look elegant. For not actually being a DSLR, Richie, that G5 does a great job. Online I am seeing it range in price from $600 to nearly twice that. I hope the deal you got on it was closer to that bottom end.

Well the G5 has lived up to its reputation.I think Panasonic is a great brand. Having said that I have yet to see a poor photo from you, no matter what camera you use. Your 'pittance' I think was well spent !
