It is macros like this that speak the facts about these creatures, not the slimy, mucky things that, to quote the Addams Family, are altogether ookey. The detail and colors in the shell, the tile-like surface of the skin, and the obvious eye-stalks are all fascinating to see up close and personal like this. A good eye to spot and capture this one, Richie. The only snails I am familiar with here are those that infest my aquarium, and I can guarantee you that they are a lot more slimy than yours. A fave for me!
