Red eyes, an aerodynamic head, and discrete orange back and side feathers... this is quite the unique bird, Richie. The grebes in my locale are similar but only in body and beak shape and those eyes, looking more like they're wearing a tuxedo. This one looks like she's wearing some daiphanous gown and a royal crown.
