This bench is on a walkway running along the Mississippi river in Cape Girardeau river. This has been anouther that has sat in my bin for awhile. I used a little bit of the Ortons effect with this one. Thank you all for your kind comments.

I always liked the Miverssippi - crossing it on either I90 I40 or I10 felt like i was almost there - where ever I was going. Great capture!!

This would be a fabulous bench for Owd Bob to come and sit on and take in the view. Truly a wonderful image and such a great place to relax

This looks like a pleasing place to pass the time.
There are however, in my opinion some missed opportunities to improve the C-index for this shot. Cutting off the legs of the bench leaves the scene somehow incomplete.( Its shadow may have been interesting too.) The horizon seems tilted just a little to the left. ( all the posts are leaning the same ) It just feels off to me. I would really really like to have seen some point of interest out in the water. A sail boat would really make the scene. As the others have said, It is a beautiful and peaceful scene.
