This not the first post of this great work of art that I have done. Allthough I have gained experiance since the last and I like this angle and lighting much better. Here is a link to the event in our history that this great sculpture depicts. This sculpture is dark and sad just as the event,

Have checked-out your link Billy and have found a great and very interesting story on the ngeorgia.com/history/nghisttt site. It was helpful for a better understanding of Richie's comment above as well.
Thanks for this great and interesting post, my friend!

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Billy - The expressive statue depicts well one part of the US story that is exploitive, sad, and carries with it some shame. In photographing this sculpture, you did a wonderful job. Thad

It's a beautiful statue marking a sad ending. Although inside the sky is a nice background. I would like to see the feet as well. Thank you for sharing it, an informative link.
