Caught in Mid Fall

"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle.

There's a limited number of responses one can have, when viewing a photograph for the first time:

--"You've never done this before, have you?"
--"New Camera?'
--"Mmmmmm, yeah... s'okay."
--"Niiiice."
--"Oh boy, that's just like, mmmmwow, yeah."

--"I hate it... wish I'd taken it."

This idyllic scene fits into that last category, except... I don't actually hate it, John. I want it. The only thing I wish (besides having taken it) is that it was a full landscape ratio. Otherwise, 5 stars, Grade A, "I hate it". S&F

Russ, I remember that ad. And it was funny. But, maybe, only to our generation. Do the millennials know the Kennedys? As huge John, Bobby, Ted, and the beautiful wives and children were, for the past two decades, its been the Clintons, the Bushes, the Obamas, and now the Trumps.

The lighting and shadows work together to blend this Catch 22 photo
Shads. Or do they fight against one another trying to take over the photo. Either way, it is a beauty.
