The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it.

The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.

All tyrannies rule through fraud and force, but once the fraud is exposed they must rely exclusively on force.

The people will believe what the media tells them they believe.

Real power is achieved when the ruling class controls the material essentials of life, granting and withholding them from the masses as if they were privileges.

Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.

All Quotes are by George Orwell

Westworld ‐ Main Title Theme, Ramin Djawadi

Game of Thrones Theme, Taylor Davis

Comfortably Numb ‐ Pink Floyd, Jamie Dupuis

The Carousel, from Mad Men, David Carbonara

John, thanks for another striking render.
About the quotes I would say this: although Eric Arthur Blair, known by his pen name George Orwell has passed away in 1950, his quotes are still very actual! He had a very good foresight.
Perfectly chosen music links, per usual!

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.

This time I did read your text before commenting, John, and I find the image and all six entries in your post describe the same thing: two-faced duplicity in the politics of the rabid right. Some may despise the thought of politics finding their way into our images, but with the hatred being spread today, and Qackery posing as truth, it is inevitable. It is also graphic journalism.

Right on the nose, John.
