John, when I admire your intriguing render, I can feel the heat.
I hope however that the volcano will remain passive for a while and won't be 'treated' with an eruption.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

And the tiny yellow arrow points the way for all the pressure. When I look at this I am reminded of a week-long trip we made to Yellowstone. We cabined just outside the east entrance and, upon entering the park one day, we stopped at an overlook to get a shot of the lake, and encountering an older couple (even older than us!) who marveled at the strong smell of sulphur in the air. They were clueless as to its source so I enlightened them to the knowledge that they were standing on top of the middle of one of the largest volcanic calderas in the world~~approximately 40 miles across~~and that the pressure of the huge mass of lava beneath their feet was constantly pushing gas through vents throughout the park, several of which were right below us. The colors and lines you choose for these sorts of images, John, really give strength to that kind of geologic reality.
