My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Before I looked up Troika, what I saw here was a fortress in a triangular shape, like the Venetian Triangular Fortress on the bank of the Vivari Channel (ca. 1490), or Jamestown Colony (1607), or Forts Mandan (1804) and Clatsop (1805) of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Sorry, John. I usually turn to the history I know. I do like how the treatment of the image has a real Renaissance character.
