In this world of over-saturation and too much lighting, I occassionally come across a rose like this one, posing as a weed. Well done Chris.

I agree with casechaser about over saturation and excessive lighting. I do like how the light brings out the "thorns" on the center stem. Though not vegetables, the photo reminds me of the Three Sisters story.

The lighting is exceptional and the monochromatic treatment works very well here (plus I've always been a huge fan of symmetry). Nature provides many of her plants and animals certain defense mechanisms and, from the angle you've taken this one, it would take a critter with a very tough mouth to eat this plant. Spines everywhere! Another glimpse into the unnoticed world, Chris. Thanks.
