Great shot of the low tide scene at a North Sea beach Cornelius. How often has it happened that tourists and others who cannot imagine that the tide is faster than they can run and have to be rescued in the end. Lovely scene!

From Raj's description of the tide coming IN, he makes it sound like a mini tsunami. LOL. Very beautiful view here, Mr. C.

A lovely expanse of beach Cornelius - and another great shot from you. The splash of red is great.

Raj is right with his above comment. Within half an hour the slightly dark covered area on the beach was completely flooded and the couple, with their kites already waiting on the beach, was fully involved in spectacular kite surfing. Probably I'll show you later some action shots.

Plenty of room for a dance on the beach, Cornelius....lol !
Is dit de 'stilte' voor de 'storm', nou ja, je hebt alvast
wel het naakte strand (mooi perspectief !) op de foto gezet !

Great shot. I did not realize the ocean receeded that much at low tide. I like the wind tubines as well.

Wonderful beach scene, and great DOF! I'd have my tent a bit further back, as I know a little about tides.

It looks so barren at the time Sea. The high tide probably makes it look like a different place altogether. Good post.
Good health to you and yours.
