My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I love the architecture displayed here, and boats and water is also a favorite of mine, but it's the reflection that has me diggin' your submission. Not being a perfect mirror, the slightly jagged shapes take on an abstract character that truly is an "image within an image." A couple years ago I downloaded a Caedes submission that had this same sort of layout. I flipped the image 180° and cropped out the actual waterfront buildings, leaving only the reflection as an abstract image. It was a fun experiment. Heck, it might even have been one of your photos. A real beauty, Corny, and into my favorites file it goes. -Nik
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I cannot ever get enough of the small towns images in Holland ! They all look so fairytale-ish and beautiful. The reflection here is a great bonus but even without it, I would have loved it at once. SAM & SAAB
