This panorama of the promenade in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands was stitched from 8 images each with a size of 6,000 by 4,000 pixels. The finally result was an image with the size of 13,031 by 1,823 pixels. Because Caedes allows a maximum of 3,200 pixels, I had to reduce the size to 3,200 by (1,823 x 3,200 / 13,031 =) 448 pixels, which implicated an inevitable loss of quality.

I hope however that the pano is still acceptable to you and that you will enjoy it. Thanks in advance for your comment.

Acceptable... hmmmmmm... gee, I don't know... Aw, Phhhhhhttttttt, Mr. C., of course it is. When I brought it up full I wasn't thinking at all about the size but rather how well you managed to keep the horizon as flat as you did. I realized it had to be stitched to allow for this length. Beautiful shots—excellent technical work—great color, light and DOF. This might actually be a good contest theme, uber-wide panos. It would be cool to see them from around the world and give some of our novice members a chance to learn a new technique. -Nik

If there has been a loss of quality, the larger original quality must have been out of this world...which this is to me anyway. Excellent pano and sewing machine work, Mr. C. LOL.

Cornelius - Your exceptional work goes well beyond 'acceptable'. The details of the original must be amazing, as reduced to 3200 pixels there are sharp lines in the buildings. Thad
