Lots of things to see in this shot from up above Cornelius - not only from the nautical point of view but also in general. Well composed showing the green land on both sides of the canal. Very clear details. That is a good lens to "fly" with.
I bet all the people in the boats, and even the guy in the tractor are watching you in your balloon. Are you going around the world in 80 days, Mr. C? lol. Great looking shot. I would love to be there with you.
I don't see any other tall buildings, which leads me to believe you have invested in one of those drones, Cornelius. Lots of detail and activity at the lock. Fantastico!
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
Wow this is a stunning photography I love how you manage to get to boat speeding up the centre towards you and the colours are amazing especially in the fields and the detail is that good and sharp you can see a farm tractor in the fields .Is the cannon homing in on the speed boats lol.
Wow - Cornelius - this shot is like a small version of a tour of your wonderful country - snapped at a great vantage point - so many things to see and so well presented - Excellent!!!
A truly gorgeous shot Mr. C. There is a lot to see in this canal and its surroundings. The sailboats look as though they have unusually high masts but that may be because of the angle You were shooting from. Exceptional photo. Fav'd
Marvelous close up showing us the detail in the locks and great lighting, really like those 2 motorboats coming towards the locks, plus the 2 sailboats waiting their turn
Wow, if this one doesn't clearly illustrate the relationship your country has with water, Mr. C, I don't know what would. Seeing how close to the berm the water level is lets us see that the water is under control... with a lot of effort. Great angle. Into my favorites.

Let me have a go on that then!....Bugger would hold my weight anyhow!...lol
Sweet composition and spectacular view!..lots to look at here as well!
