The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
So pretty - a wonderful shot Cornelius. I also like the cow grazing there - perhaps someones 'house cow' called Daisy :)
The cow would not be seen in a NZ scene as they are 'supposed' to be fenced a certain distance from rivers lakes etc. I dont think anyway that we would see just one cow on its own here either - dairy farming is very intensive.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Lovely scenery and beautifully composed image Cornelius - you most definitely have a great eye in seeking out these scenes in Walcheren - agree with everyone here - your post looks like a painting - Excellent!!!!!!!!
If this is typical I'm guessing the ratio of small boats to the general population there must be quite high, not because a lot of the country is below sea level but because of all these canals. If we ever visited there, I'm certain we'd find a way to paddle half the time.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
