It may be too late for breakfast and too early for dinner, maybe happy hour for all those patrons.

What a place to visit and enjoy the old settings. Lunch or dinner at these places would be idyllic.

I can see the group of diners/drinkers enjoying the terrace-view of the canal, over on the left, and the pair near middle-bottom catching the eye of a hungry swan, but as is always the case with your Bruges photos, C. is, for me, the details without people:

The little red door at the bottom, left of middle, with the oddly-shaped top~~odd that is, until I notice the arch-topped opening to the left and a stripe of red to the left of the opening, obviously the other half of the door, on edge...

The unique shape of the faces of the dormers on the far upper left, like a fleur-de-lis with the bottom lopped off...

The decorative sign below and to the left of the swan people, apparently there for the benefit of the canal-going trade...

The way that the upper floors in the building sporting the canal sign each project a little further out over the canal, perhaps by as much as a half-meter or more...

The small and utilitarian arched opening and railing in the shadows, in that dark stone wall in the lower right... where does it lead?...

and more...

and more...
