Absolutely BEAUTIFUL... I love snow scenes and this one is one of the best.. great composition and lighting, love how you have captured the delicate sunlight behind the trees.. it gives the feel of peace.. Wonderful work (it's on my desktop.. 10)
Splendid photo. I could stand there for hours just gazing at the light tunnel ahead of me. And the snowcovered branches. Thank you very much for sharing this exceptional place in the bushes...
wonderful capture, and great manipulation on it. it seems the mix of the cold wheather and how affect the human emotions, even thou is quiet lonely place...it got the full energy from somewhere unknow..to keep the good energy to enjoy the scenery...and keep the light into us.... great meanings..wonder if I missed something...
my new image "roots or traces"
What a wonderful little winterland you have found. The brilliant light aglow in the distance draws me in. Lovely overall picture, great image. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful image. I love the light and the composition in general. My only slight concern is the sharpness. It's a bit too sharp to my taste. I wonder if you manipulated the image in any way.
Great job overall.
I love this shot! It's simply enchanting, it looks like down that path is the door to another world, stunning, just stunning, you should be very proud.
No. The journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path. One that we all must take. The grey-rain curtain of this world rolls back, and all will turn to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores and beyond. The far green country unto a swift sunrise.
Oh My !! The warmth of the sunlight filtering into this little snow hideaway is just so good ! I can feel this also...I love photos like this. I spent an icy cold winter in North Dakota..and the times when it was totally silent with snow all around and the sun making it glisten, well, Ive never forgotten it. Your photos bring back many memories. You are an excellent photographer with your snow scenes. I just love them a lot..thank you so much..verena
Great picture... everyone else has already said everything... the only problem I see with the picture is that the main focus of the picture is directly in the center, if the main flare was off to the left the picture would be perfect, but still it is a great picture!
I've had this one in my collection of screen wallpapers since you first posted it (switching out every 5 minutes), and it's one of my favorites. I can't believe I never commented on it. looking at and comparing the quality of photos from 5 years ago to those taken with the newer cameras of today, this one certainly holds its own against today's high-rez images. The focus and lit shadows are outstanding, the colors are great and the only place where there's any wash going on at all is right at the light source, exactly where one would expect it, giving it the look of mystery, something hidden beyond our ken. Top-drawer shot and more that deserving of that 87 CI. I'm glad I got to see it again and comment on it.
