Finally my winter photos seem to reflect the real weather conditions we have in Poland, we have had some heavy snowfalls in the last 24 hours... Winter has arrived! (but the photo was taken in March 2006) Please enjoy.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I have to agree with bryan's comments..I saved it because that's the way winter is supposed to look like in New England too, well at least some of the time..it's gorgeous and you did a great job on composition and all the other elements that make for a wonderful photo.

This is a beautiful capture of winter. I love the way the snow sits on the trees and you composed this so well!

Personally, I like to see snow only at a great distance. Poland is just about far enough away. This is a perfect shot of winter in the mountains. Great photo!

A fine pic....why none of the recent snow? Did that rascal Marzena hog it all?

I don’t think you can beat nature shots where there are no people. It’s so magical how nature’s colors can overwhelm you and there are just no words that can describe your thoughts. Only Awe! This will make a great desktop. Thanks for sharing!

A beautiful scene, however, I'm glad it's you and not us having all that snow. We've gone through November with no snow which is a wonder here in Iowa. Stunning shot here.

I saw this when you first submitted it and even though it was likely taken with a lower-rez camera (the big ones didn't exist 6 years ago), it's still a great shot. In fact, it's probably even better considering the equipment available 6 years ago and this one is still as good as what we see shot now in 2012. Some images are timeless.
