I love the whole range of colours and the way the statue stands out so well against the sky, Tanju. A very interesting capture of your local mythology.
"I'm never going to be famous. My name will never be writ large on the roster of Those Who Do Things. I don't do any thing. Not one single thing. I used to bite my nails, but I don't even do that any more." -
Dorothy Parker (1893-1967)
Tanju - With clenched fists, Reis is standing at the bow of his ship with sea horses helping navigate the rough waters. It is particularly powerful with the clouds behind. Excellent color and contrast for this photo. Thad
You have chosen a very good angle for this one Tanju, as the contrast between subject matter and background is perfect.
Very good post, my friend!

Beautiful and unique scupture, I like it very much Tanju! Good angle you used, good work! Here in Brazil, the word "Reis" means "Kings", written in the same way.
Tanju, this here is an exemplary shot of a wonderful statue.
I have some ideas for touch-up, would you mind if I did a little re-work from this one? (or tried to make one, not sure I can succeed, though)
