Frank, I see by her shape/design that she's a very fast ferry, so the distance of 11 (nautical?) miles between the Victoria Quay in Fremantle to Rottnest will be crossed (when there's a moderate sea state) in a short time, probably less than half an hour.
I suppose that the weather conditions are good there in general (no fog there?), because this ferry hasn't radar equipment.

*Rottnest*, eh? Here in the U.S. that would have an entirely different connotation. That craft looks like it has some real speed to it.
