So many storms here in the south. We get these big hanging clouds called mammatus. They are always exciting to see and indicate either an oncoming storm or the ending of the one. I enhanced this photo to bring out more of the 3D effect that my mother and i saw with our own eyes. Something i had to share with my friends here on caedes. Taken Spring 2017. Thanks for viewing. :)

Our weather here along the gulf coast is more tropical and our storms can be bad, but we do not get the super cells you see around you neck of the woods and the plain states. Your shot is a fave for me, very intriguing.

Oooooohhhh yeah, I love how the mammatus are emerging from all that blue. Considering how they can precede or follow a storm, they're either the heads of white snakes about to strike or smiling porpoises, rising from the depths to play. I'm also diggin' the gradation from blue into purple into pink into orange on the horizon. Good eye Marisa.

Mammatus clouds are always eye-catching for me. It's not every day that one gets to see a bubbling, lumpy cloud.

Your talent with exhilarating colors and blends always delights me. Enormously nice job on this image!
