This must be the other churchyard photo you mentioned and I must say I like this view a bit better with no road (although I would still have cropped out a little more from the bottom, about half the growth there - I know, picky, picky, picky; my wife says the same). And no, it's not morbid to shoot photos of a graveyard. Headstones can tell us a lot about the local community; they're history in the short form. Looking through your gallery also reminded me of those b&w WWII reenactment photos of yours that I felt were so well done. I'm glad I took the trip.
