Those mountain cap and wave clouds are truly spectacular formations and we count ourselves lucky whenever we find them. I captured a triple layer wave cloud in Glacier park 5 years ago, the only one I've ever seen in the "flesh," as it were. Standing here, looking at this thing over Shasta, I'm guessing you had a momentary "Independence Day" flashback, waiting for a fiery spacecraft to punch through. :D Great image, great capture.
