When the weather is good it's not unusual to see photo shoots going on all along the riverfront and areas tourists know. Especially during one of the two fashion weeks, which this photo was not taken then. This was on Pont de Bir-Hakeim. As far as wedding photos go, they can either be real or fashion. Example: I could tell from the intimacy this couple showed that this was likely a very real photo shoot of a wedded couple. If I recall correctly, the photographer's angle is likely getting the Eiffel Tower in the background. However, at the exact same time immediately behind me, a wedding fashion shoot was going on with models and handlers and light techs, etc. I just sort of stumbled into this very public area at the right time, I guess. Anyone wanting to see more of the Joan of Arc statue can check out this pic. Paris, France; July 2016.

In 2014 the newly expanded North Dakota Heritage Center state museum opened, and one of the main features is a beautiful glass atrium entrance. While visitors thronged to see the building, nine separate wedding parties showed up to have their photos taken inside... on opening day! And they were arrogant enough to demand visitors stay out of the atrium. A policy has since been instituted that alleviates that. I very much prefer the real wedding couples having their photos taken like this; they're there for a very personal reason, and not to sell a product. I do like your angle and the tarnish on Joan's statue. Also, your photo of a couple being photographed by these guys shows how much an element of life our craft really is. The HDR really makes this one pop; diggin' it.

Reading 'Nik' his well documented comment, it's pretty hard to say anything more about it, rather than it's well edited, excellent, and spontaneous capture, Ted.

Good narrative. A year or so ago, a couple got married on the observation tower at Lettuce Lake Park. I was obvious what the groom and family was doing, and I stayed out of it. They coaxed the bride to be up to the tower totally unaware what was going on, and he proposed when she walked up. He had decorated the steps leading up as well.

Long before the white man and long before the wheel, when the dark green forests were too silent to be real. Lightfoot 1967
