Besides the obvious historical architecture of the cathedral, I like the various levels and positions of human traffic in your photo, Ted--the ground level of Notre Dame, the river level, the bridge on the right and the boat traffic below. Lots going on and lots to see. Add in the colors, slight HDR, and that dynamic sky and it's an overall winner. I'm guessing those bright spots of light on the containment walls must be from lights on the boat, since they're at the same position on both sides and the light source appears to be in the middle of the Seine.
