This is another one of those accidental shots. I was walking along in the old town portion of the city past the courthouse and just happened to look to my right as I passed. I liked the synchronicity of it all so I then stopped and snagged this shot. Alexandria, Virginia, USA.

My art career began when I was in the fourth grade, and I've been a big fan of symmetry from the start. So this one is, of course, a high-five, grade-A, everything's-alright-tonight favorite. Onto my desktop immediately. Besides the self-evident comp, the focus, bright colors and lighting are outstanding. There are a couple tiny spots that defeat 100% symmetry but they're so small that only a picky bastard like me would see them and they're due to architectural defaults, and not your skills. Terrific!
