If you ever find yourself nearby, this estate open to the public is definitely worth a stop. Plan your day accordingly, but do plan to see it. The day we were there we took a horse drawn jaunt around the estate, saw a terrific waterfall, explored an abandoned abby, and toured the inside of the house, although they were doing some extensive restoration on the outside that day. Near Killarney, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

And a delightful wee homestead it 'tis. I have just enough Irish blood in me to make it worth while to visit (my paternal grandfather's name was Harper). What I don't have enough of, unfortunately, is the price of a trans-atlantic plane ticket, not to mention travel, board, and lodging over there. So I have to rely on photos like yours to (partially) quench my thirst for visiting my homelands (Ireland, Scotland, England... I have a lot of German in me too, but it's the former three of which I'm rather proud).

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Ted - I'm glad I don't live here - I'd get lost wandering through the maze of rooms! If I may offer an observation - there is a bit of noise in the sky, likely from the HDR post-photo work. Also, there is some strange looking stuff in front of each of the bushes.

Yes, you are correct. It was windy that morning so things were moving around and this is the 3-shot bracket. But not the house.
