A look down a portion of Paroisse de Saint-Severin,a church around the corner from Shakespeare & Company in the Latin Quarter. It was built at the beginning of the 1200s, but was seriously damaged in 1448 during the Hundred Years War. It eventually was repaired, thankfully. Paris, France, July, 2016.

For me your image and title are projecting a different perspective; one of darkness, danger, supernatural mystery, and a sense that if you entered here you may not return. I think it's the heavy feel of the sharply arching stonework and the shadows created by the black & white treatment. Very atmospheric, Ted. I could see this as a lead-in for a movie or book filled with dark consequences... but that's just me. :0) I'm a happy-go-lucky retiree that way! [oD Seeing spooks around corners. ;oP Nice work. bd

England brought a great deal of suffering upon the French in the 100 Years War. Your b/w treatment and the spotted lighting make a dynamic image.
