Hi everyone we are back in Florence Italy and thought you'd like to get a closer look at the famous bridge called: Ponte Vecchio. It really is quite the structure and some wonderful shops to go through if you love diamonds. I'm sure us girls would love to have more bling, lol.

OK everyone lets go walk through and have a look around, now mind your purses and wallets, there are a lot of people you can see if you view in full.

Thank you for your patience and comments in advance if you choice to do so. Hope you are enjoying the trip and not getting tired.

Have a great day, ♥ Skates

Will try and play catch up on commenting and view.

Are you saying there are pickpockets about, Pat? Despite the fact that the bridge is backlit, and therefore a little dark, you've still captured the essence of the architecture and the people add excellent scale. It reminds me of how old London Bridge was loaded with structures.

Happy Trails (and keep your hand in your pocket)

Pat, I have enlarged this splendid capture even to a bigger than a full screen size one in order to count the people on the Vecchio bridge, but I gave up after a third attempt, ☺ .
Every disadvantage has it own advantage, because I can fully concentrate myself now in enjoying this very fine one.
With such captures one gets never be tired, my friend!

A wonderful place to visit - I have great memories of there. I never got a photo from this side. I never bought any diamonds either lol

This is a fine capture. On my desktop today :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A very beautiful scene very well captured Pat. Sharp details on the bridge and surroundings. The flat calm water and the light blue sky add to the beauty of the scene.

Molto bene Skates. Looks like a place I would love if people kept their hands in their own pockets.
