Captured these pictures 2021, 09-02 (Thursday Evening) Hub Trail near our house, this part of the 22.5km trail is called: Fort Creek.

While on my walk with my dear friend Debbie, I spotted this family of 6 beavers working away. Of course I didn't have my camera so I went back home really fast, grabbed my camera and jumped on my bicycle and off I went to get back to take these shots

Thank you so much for your time and appreciate your comments.

Have A Great Day, ♥ &hearts: Skates ♥ ♥

Neat photo, but the little fellows do a lot of damage. Fun to watch though.

Great shots of the the beavers Pat - I find them to be fascinating creatures - they are the second largest rodent and are considered to be nature's architects and engineers - Good Find on your walk - p.s. Thanks for the favs.

I'm glad you were able to make it back in time. You've captured a slice of the beaver's life.

Sounds like you had to work like busy beavers to get these photos. Will, you did a dam fine job of capturing these critters working in Fort Creek. lol.

Pat, thanks for another wonderful collage from you. The by you provided links gives us a lot of background information.
I was smiling about your narrative too. Proves to me that a good photographer is always a perfect observer in recognizing remarkable things.
So these above mentioned 3 'ingredients' make this post to a very special one. Very well done, and thanks for the done effort (the extra bike ride, 😁) , my friend!

They do look eager, Pat. They do pose a little problem around some parts of the waterways though. Good collage, Pat!

Appropriate that the Fort Creek web page has a beaver at the top. What an opportunity for you, Pat, and that will teach you not to leave the house without 84 pounds of photographic equipment, eh? ;oP

I just posted a photo of a beaver lodge but, kayaking all over that lake, never saw a single beaver. My guess is that you brought along your beaver call (crunching tree bark with a big pliers?) in order to get these critters up so close.

Happy Trails, Skates!
