FOOLED YOU! FF please. this like all the bird shots are taken with my 70-300mm is usm lens. i don't use a tripod because everything is spontaneous. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Wrong! I am familiar with your subject prefs! I normally do not particularly like bird photos but I must say this is outside the norm... I even wish you had been lucky enough to get all of it. :o) Hey... I now have a 2.8-4.0 lens... I can have a try at shots similar to this... don't know if I'll get it as sharp as you did though! :o)
