My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
At first I'm thinking, "There's a Yokohama in Hawaii as well as Japan?" Then I do a search and realize it's a beach. This one's a heckuva lot better looking than the Japan variant. Bright blue, clean water in Hawaii as opposed to dirty, industrial junk-laden, gray and full of jellyfish waters off Yokohama. I always like to see diagonals in photos that pull your eyes to one destination or another, in this photo the open ocean. With the solid colors and areas, this one fits well the original purpose of Caedes submissions---desktop images. There's room to both enjoy the photo and still leave room for computer icons. I'm a cool-weather guy myself but your photo makes me want to be right here on the beach. -Nik
