Wow, this is just like a fantasy world. How very very gorgeous. I love the blueness of the water...below the Falls..I think this is one of the best waterfall photos I've seen in a long time. Thank you so much for such a beautiful posting..Verena

Each day I must take one more step, no matter how small or how large, but I must take the step.

You're absolutely right and thanks for thinking of us. Actually I never get tired of a good waterfall picture but this one is exceptional.

I love the colors and the details but mostly I love the rainbow.

Thanks for sharing

... (*some sounds are heard, as 'our' explorer makes his way to your gallery*) ...

Ohhh, this is the one that I spied immediately when I took a peek at your galleries. Jumped out at me, as they say.

Composition ... really, really nice. A strong element overall for this image. With ... with the added bonus and surprise of Mother Natures' brush of colour in the rainbow that you captured. You are spot on with this aspect for me.

Ohh, I get excited when I see something like this. A few ... a few, mind you, tweaks in a post-editing program and your beautiful shot here could be elevated that little bit more. Here, I am thinking contrasts could be adjusted somewhat to illuminate some of the darker area in the left hand corner. Just a suggestion.

I am curious, as to the why you have not included the larger resolutions for our viewing pleasure? ... this one almost demands it. If you require some help, go here.

In particular, look for the post of animaniactoo on 03/09/06 at 10:30 PM, as she summarizes a few links there that might help if you wish.

This ... this is a beautiful place and a beautiful image, make no mistake about either, as far as this 'explorer' is concerned.
Yes ... thank you for sharing. :)

Hey Heidi, nice shot here. It might be a little over-sharpened but I like how you captured the rainbow in it.

Thanks for the comment on Top Down. I'm glad you liked it!

Hello Heidi.....There's much about a waterfall to impress on a person.... Waterfalls are a natural source of grace and energy....I believe the key to taking a captivating waterfall photo is to capture the feel of motion in the photograph and you have done this in this beautiful picture....Well done....All the best....Mick.
