In thumbnail view they look like fat washed up fish. A fine subject and photograph Thad. If these seals have such an easy life perhaps I should think about being a seal if I ever return to planet earth. (o:

Sheesh... if not for the faces, I'd think they were giant slugs or leeches. From your description I'm guessing slugs is the appropriate term. Good shot, Thad, and the gulls give good perspective of the relative size. Either that or those are some freakin' huge gulls.
