One of the most popular attractions of the Blue Ridge Mountains is Moses Cone Manor Memorial Park, a 3,500 acre park full of pristine High Country beauty. , Moses Cone Manor National Park is "historic splendor at its finest." is A Jewel Along The Blue Ridge Parkway The Moses Cone House is nothing short of a work of art. Flat Top Manor is a 23-room, 13,000 square foot home, featuring large white columns, leaded glass widows, high dormers, and a grand sweep staircase made from one piece of cherry wood, all properties of classic Colonial Revival style. Flat Top Manor was used in the movie, The Green Mile (1999) with Tom Hanks. Thanks friends for viewing this historic home! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ P.S. I am going to be gone first Colorado, next Daytona Beach and then a 7 night cruise please forgive me if I don't comment on every single photo. But I will try to view everyone's lovely pictures when I get back... I get so far behind on leaving comments or looking at pictures on Caedes after long absences I feel guilty and amazed I have a single friend left. Well thanks for sticking with me my friends!

Diane, after reading your narrative I like to say this:

Caedes-friendship doesn't depend on more or less comments. The contents of a comment is far more important than the number of given comments. When a Caedes-friend has the time and the opportunity to comment, than it's nice. When not, it should not be a problem at all.
So, please, don't let the friends-list become an obsession to you.

Wish you a good trip to Colorado, Florida and hope you won't become seasick during your cruise, lol!! Have a great time, take care, and after your trips I hope to meet you again on Caedes.

Last but not least: thanks for sharing this wonderful photograph!

Regards, Cornelius.
