The fog and the cold caused heavy hoar frost. Taken on the same foggy day, two year ago in the Wechsel mountains in Styria.

A beautiful macro of these frosty needles, Mia. The central object is in perfect focus, with a miniscule snow drift on each needle, the background is creating a soft and soothing bokeh effect, the downward diagonal is very strong, and the black frame makes everything in the image pop. Excellent. Faved and saved.
