I saw some photos in an online magazine that were b/w and they were outstanding. This reminds me of them, albeit it is in color. I love the color of the sky and water Gibbs. This is as good as it gets.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
This was very cool as a thumbnail and startlingly gorgeous enlarged, one of those images that, while you're standing there in real time, absorbing what's happening around you, you realize that if you shoot it and submit it you're thinking "They're never going to believe this!" I've been lucky enough to have a few like this, but only a few. The interplay of light and color, with the clouds making shapes that mimic the landforms, one would think they were standing on a different planet. The one thing that brings our senses back to reality is the boat, and viewing that boat broadside creates a linear shape, enhanced by the long horizon and your panoramic treatment. If the c-index were still in operation, this one would easily be in the high 90's. I'm jealous. 8D
