Unfortunately, I know nothing about birds other than they fly and chirp. I've been inspired by others here on Caedes to try my hand at bird photography. This bird was on a terra cotta roof that offered a little texture to the shot. I am soliciting your honest critiques to see how to improve in this genre of photography. My technique is Point, focus, shoot. And that's the truth!
Very nice capture and a pretty rare one anyhow, because a fiddler on the roof is more familiar to me than a singing bird on a roof. Perhaps it has seen the fiddler and supports him in a musical way now.
