I know you didn't make the cloud, and it's just a straight shot, but you did have the foresight to have your camera handy when it happened. Congrats on a great shot. You could certainly crop out the rubbish at the bottom and improve the overall image a bit. Just a suggestion.

very nice picture... just fyi, these clouds are formed by air being forced to move up, usually around mountain ranges; they aren't storm clouds. nice shot!
What an unusual thing to see. Glad you got the shot which is a great shot by the way. Tks for sharing it with all of us so we could see through your eyes.

Lenticular Clouds form over mountains, on the leeward side. The wind is stronger on the windward side and blows the moisture in the air over the top of the mountain where it will often stall a bit. If the temperature on the leeward side is different than the windward side and if there is enough moisture in the air, clouds reminiscent of UFOs and other strange shapes, including stacks of wavelets of clouds, will form. In September of this past year (2010) I saw (and photographed) lenticular wave clouds in the high peaks in Glacier National Park in northern Montana, USA. Truly a cool sight and you were fortunate to capture it.
