The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Great shot, to bad he didn't have the football in his hands would have been a touchdown. I noticed there weren't many in the stands. I liked your coloring tones.

You've done it again, Rob. His jersey was golden and the grass was blue.

Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.

I would wonder if this was photoshoped in but not in 1954. It shows the skill of the photographer with stop action and focus and the color enhances this , well done.

Well Tom think he is worried about the landing by the look on his face.

lol at Rob's upper comment. (And, true!)

Pulls out my announcer voice and quips, "And there's Cvitanovich. Look at that boy go! Why, he's so fast when he runs that you can't even see his legs!"

Supremely interesting find in this pick, Rob. Perfectly and realistically enhanced by you.

Don't know whether John Cvitanovich was inspired by Superman or that it was in a reversed way. This 'action shot' shows however that even in the time that it was taken, one was able to mock with the logical laws of gravity, ☺ , even enhanced by your, perfectly, per usual, done coloring process.
Thanks for another addition to this great series, my friend. Very well done again!

A demonstration of levitation?

He lost some of himself in WWII?

Photoshop gone wild?

This was about 6 months after I was born and, as a kid, I remember seeing lots of sports photos where the athletes would pose in positions of action but this... whoah! I suppose if I could physically do something like this I'd have a goofy smile on my face, too. Great image, great find. Into my favorites and on my desktop, thanks.
