Oh my goodness the poor little guy - 11 years old !
You did him proud with the colorization.
Makes me want to count my blessings.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Rob, This is an excellent addition to your gallery. Things might have been simple in those times, but the hardships were many. tigs=^..^=

When I was eleven years old I was starting my art career in Sister Henry Ann's (who we called "Hand-Grenade Annie's") 4th grade class, drawing Columbus's three ships so well it made the rest of the class look like 1st graders, still trying to wrap my head around why someone would shoot our president JFK, and beginning to notice how good Sue Johnson looked when she laced her fingers together, put her hands behind her head, and stretched after hours of sitting in those crappy old wooden desks... not working my butt off in a bakery so my family could eat and stay in a house. I agree with Lyn and the rest.

It is quite interesting the difference in viewing this scene with the coloring that you do on this photo. Seems to kind of stand out in a subtle way, almost as if he was time traveling.
