This profile view does something for us that the other images haven't, at least not as well... it explains even further how the poverty, low wages, and long hours of hard work kept many of these kids thin as a rail. Social commentary photography for sure.

Rob, your colorization to me has emphasized the hardship caused by the tough child's labor of that era. The touching look in his eyes tells more than a whole book.
A very good addition to your series, but a touching one as well.
