She looks like she is feeling a little naughty Rob. Maybe it is her first time away from home. I'm sure she would be pleased with your colorization. Wonderful portrait by you and the photographer.

Rob, in contrary with Owd Fella Tick's comment, think Francis Bethune isn't a little naughty, but somewhat shy, but I agree that it's a matter of 'In the eye of the beholder' (a matter of personal opinion). This feeling is enhanced by your (perfect) way of colorization because the original B&W image don't show this 'appearance'.
Proves to me again what an appropriate, not overdosed, treatment can do with an image. Kudos again!

Beautifully done by you, and to me she looks to be playing coy for the camera. tigs=^..^=

Not being a woman I have no idea if a beauty parlor has a pictorial set of hair style examples, the way the old-fashioned barber I frequent does. Or, for that matter, if the beauty parlors at the start of the twentieth century did. If so, I could easily see these feminine portraits of yours be utilized for that purpose. That being said, I'm still waiting for a 1905 Mohawk (:o( yowtch!! :o().
