The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

The two works side by side, emphasize your artistic skills and the colorization provides us with a comparison. Excellent work, there truly is a difference and a remarkable improvement.

This might be the first ghost captured on film Rob. I bet this photo didn't do much for her (the one in back) self esteem.
I guess you can't colorize a ghost.
Excellent work.

Boy, oh boy, this plate was severely abused, starting with the oily fingerprints and left to deteriorate. I suppose when the photographer realized he'd messed it up with a double-exposure he probably didn't care what happened to it. I could easily see some impressionable Victorian innocent believing this was a photograph of a ghost. I mean, if the Cottingly girls in 1917 England, with their contrived "fairy" photos could fool many people, even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (of Sherlock Holmes fame) into believing in them, then I'm sure this one could work for ghosts, too.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

Oh that is never a double exposure - it is most surely a ghost captured ! I think it is her long lost twin watching over her and telling her to please don't wear such fussy gowns !
Or maybe her mother making sure she was not making eyes at the photographer :)
It is great to see the before and after side by side Rob.
Well done as always

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
