Huuuummmmm..... let's say welcome to the weird and wonderful. Was for the challenge to get the shaving cream right (no joke) never done it before and yes it is also colored. If I had used the wit from the B&W image well lets say ...not good. Just some info this image is in fact just two colors the skin and sepia color its the blend mode that makes the result. Totaal time invested in making 25 minutes.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

25 minutes is a relatively very brief time to achieve this result, Rob. Usually I spend more time to edit/convert a RAW image of mine to a for Caedes suitable format.

The slightly colored shaving creme is a proper choice, so making your colorization process not to an overdone job, but one with a natural character.
Good work per usual, my friend. You're a virtuoso in this branch of art!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This looks like an old ad for Gillette razors. I'm sure there are plenty of people in Montana with culture and class, but when I attended a niece's wedding in a small town out there, about 7 or 8 years ago, I was completely baffled as to why the father of the groom showed up, sitting in the first pew on the right, wearing one of these ribbed tank tops, locally called "wife beaters" by some of the redneck population... I mean, THAT was his shirt! Granted, it was white and clean, but even so... at a wedding??? At the beginning of 1940 these guys would most likely have worn button down service shirts on top of the tanks, and a shiny-billed cap as well, back when more people showed self-control and took care to present themselves in public with a certain panache. At least my nephew-in-law's parents pew wasn't filled the rest of the way with people wearing their pajamas out of the house, an element of modern pubic life that I find deplorable... be comfortable at home... I don't want to see your bra straps... the crotch of your jeans should not be at knee-level... must everyone driving home at 5:00 be checking their cell phones... arga-barga... itch-bitch... grumble-gripe. I think I was born about 30 years too late. That's probably why I enjoy your submissions so much, Rob.
