Study Packing a horse I did because I wanten to see if I could colorize animals worked out not to bad but lost focus/sloppy on the saddle which was pointed out to me by my good friend C as I value the opinion of Cornelius highly I have corrected my mistake.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I too like this one more...and...I did a google search to translate ""waar gehakt wordt vallen spaanders" that was on your first version and got this: "where minced chips fall"...and also, "chopped chips fall"...what the heck does that mean??? LOL.

Well, this rework is really wonderful but didn't really bother me about the other one. Actually one of my saddles was that colour from the other one. You are the master

The only problem (and a little one at that) I saw with the saddle was the stirrup strap should have been colored the same as the saddle. In the days of this image, the cowboy's jeans would have been a black denim, and you keeping them uncolored was just right, but his jacket would have been a medium to dark blue denim, similar to today's blue jeans. Denim jackets were a staple of working men before and during WWII.

...Denim jackets were a staple of working men before and during WWII...

Was some artistic freedom going on here Nik I did have his jacket blue but he blended into the dark behind him hens the green to make more prominent of course historically not correct but made for a better image. Must say it possible to get it all but would have to colorize the back and foreground to make it right. I only used and color filter to achieve the back and foreground so it's a different process. But will save that for a later date and get it right. As always thank you for your honest and positive comments and your ongoing interest in my work makes Caedes a more interesting place to be.
