This is Casey, known to the AKA as "Copper Casing", a "Ruby" Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is now officially all grown-up at 18 months. He is typical of the breed, meant to be a "companion dog", which means he is always within sight and usually within touch. (They say that if you never want to go to the bathroom alone again, a Cavalier is the dog for you). He's long on energy and short on judgment, but as he grows older he'll probably reverse those characteristics. I posted a pic of about a year ago as a puppy. Although only 17.5 lbs, he keeps me busy and happy all day long; I can't say enough good about this dog and the breed in general. Thanks for coming to take a look!

It lovely to have a dog by you side and to welcome you home you can not bet it.Great capture and love the cute look on the dogs face.Plus i like how you captured the light in this shot especially in the dogs eyes.

He's a good looking little fellow with such shiny fur, illustrating the good care he's getting. The stereotypical St. Bernard has been linked to carrying a small cask of booze on his collar, under his chin, supposedly to revive avalanche victims. Whether this is true or not is irrelevant but, since Casey follows you everywhere, including into the bathroom, perhaps he could have a small roll of toilet tissue attached to his collar, on a spinner to make it's utilization more effective. When you do facilitate that concept we'll be waiting for an update photo. When not occupied as a toilet tissue dispenser, he could carry cob corn picks on the spinner, allowing you to put butter on your cob quickly. Oh, wait... buttered corn and dog hair? Not a good combination... never mind!

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
I can't stand it, he's so terminally cute! We lost our Maltese last year (same kind of companion dog) so maybe a King Charles spaniel would fit the bill... Casey sounds like he's a total joy to be around. ;-)

Agent SAAB [to say thing about agent SAM] already likes him a lot !!!! It is good doubtless for the doggie of the size of this Cavalier to have a friend that weighs 100 lbs [=50 kg].
